Detective Legacy was an opportunity to create something slightly different and develop the studio’s wider skillset, including full integration in Unity. The minimalist style required a confident focus on making the UI as lightweight as possible, ensuring the experience felt more like a tv drama than a game. Careful iteration was vital to ensure clear and engaging functionality, without taking users out of the experience.
